Gebhard Fugel’s paintings of the Stations of the Cross set the tone for this meditative prayer. Following the text written by Barb Brochtrup, I guide the viewer to reflect on various parts of the paintings using Adobe AfterEffects. Minor inconsistencies due to aging on the paintings were touched up using Adobe Photoshop.
The original paintings hang in St. Joseph in München, Germany and duplications adorn both Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Chilton, Wisconsin and in the Cathedral of St. Mary in Peoria, Illinois. The artwork is in the public domain.
